Today started very slowly. Was awaken by Amanda C's call at around 9.20am asking me if I had helped her and Jacqueline done the Internet Check-In for their flight on 7th October 2008 to Sydney. After the check-in, I played my PSP for awhile before I decide to call Jem, my good buddy, and ask him out for a movie.
We decided to catch the movie "Big Stan" at GV Plaza. I am the kind who only love watching comedy movie and nothing else. I cannot imagine myself seating through an action movie. Wall-E made me sleep, so what other movie you think I would watch?

The show was slated at 4.25pm but we only went in at around 4.35pm. It is kinda weird as the advertisment time was longer than usual and the movie only started at 4.45pm.

I feel that the movie was worth every bit of the $10 that I paid for as it is entertaining and really made me laugh throughout the movie.

It talks about how Stan, a timeshare broker, was convicted of fraud and sentenced to a jail sentence of no less than 3 years. However, through bribery, he managed to get his sentence to be delayed for 6 months before he start to serve it. Hearing about how he is potentially a target for rape in the jail, he started to learn ways to ensure that he does not get rape.

After being thrown out from a Karate school, Stan made friends with The Master, who taught him many things during the 6 months, including the 'Finger of Death".

When he finally went to jail, with the skills all fully equipped, Stan showed everyone who the Boss was in the Prison by challenging the various groups and beating the crap out of them. He then seek to unite the different groups of inmates and made them accept each and other differences. He also outlaw rape in the prison - successfully.

However, the Warden in the prison had other ideas. He wanted to sell away the land that the prison was on and made a quick buck from it. He was also the mastermind behind Stan's transfer of prison as he sees Stan as the best person to materialize his plans. In exchange, Stan would be granted parole.

On the day of the visit by the Prison Committee, the Warden had planned for a fight to be carried out in full view of the visiting committee so as to allow them to decide to let off the piece of land. But Stan had different ideas.

I am not going to spoil the whole thing by telling you what happen but what happen was a combination of unexpected happenings and also humourous incidents.

After the movie, went for dinner at Mad Jack's, located at Paradiz Centre. The food was good and the price was reasonable. I ordered a Rib-Eye Steak Combo and the steak was one of the better one that I tasted.

I also ordered the cheese fries, though I thought that the KFC version was better. And of course, what better drink to top it up then a Coke Zero!

Jem ordered the Spicy Chicken on Rice, and commented that it was very good.

After that, went to catch the game between West Ham and Bolton, as well as the Manchester City vs Liverpool game. Went home at 12.05am, just in time to catch the 502 Express service home.

Have been suffering from headaches for the past few weeks and it is still not getting better. Am I dying soon or is it my high blood pressure? I think that I should learn how to relax and not get uptight over nitty-gritty things. Maybe, maybe, maybe......

*In the movie, I thought of you again. Stan said something that really hit the nail on the head. You were right. I was selfish, arrogant and always thinking about myself, never sparing a thought for you all this while. I only know how important you are to me when you are gone. Perhaps, the best thing that you had ever done was to leave me. But I hope that you would forgive me and that we could bare our hearts to each other again. I dare not hope or think that day would come any sooner but I certainly wish that you would consider to come back to me again.*
