Q: What do you do at 2.26am on a Saturday morning, when you cannot sleep and thinking of someone important and waiting for her to call/msn you?

A: You blog! And that is the basis for this blog entry..

WOW! The whole week passed so quickly that even I had to think about what I did over the week that is worth writing about. It is just amazing as to how fast the week 6 October 2008 - 12 October 2008 is skimming away faster than I can say "Wow!"

Went to see Dr Ler on Tuesday after sending Jacq and Amanda off to Sydney. Was diagnosed with mild High Blood Pressure and ordered to start on medication with immediate effect. The good news: The dosage is low for starters and pending the review after 2 weeks, I may not need to be on medication again.

-> Was instructed to cut down on salty food, oily food and fried food. Apparently, high blood pressure can ultimately lead to stroke and along with it many other illness which could shorten my life on this planet earth.

Well.....

How would you define happiness? What do you think is happiness? I was thinking through this question and I realize that I could not answer this question, no matter how hard I try. Well, in a nutshell, happiness is something that differed through the years:

At 1 years old, happiness is when we have our pacifier and milk when we are hungry
At 5 years old, happiness is when we have Rabbit Sweet (candy filled with Melamine)
At 18 years old, happiness is when we spend time with our friends
At 30 years old, happiness is when we have a car, house and a wife
And so on and so forth.......

Do you know what is your happiness? I certainly hope that you can define yours quick. Many a times, we must learn to be contented with what we have and not brood over what we do not have. Self-contentment is the most important and vital value that we should have with us. There is no point comparing ourselves with people, setting unrealistic goals that can never be achieved or doing things that ultimately, you would not be happy with.

知足常乐

At this moment, still waiting for her call.. Maybe I should just call her...

Well, maybe going out with her tomorrow, depends, see how....

Signing off now....

Today started very slowly. Was awaken by Amanda C's call at around 9.20am asking me if I had helped her and Jacqueline done the Internet Check-In for their flight on 7th October 2008 to Sydney. After the check-in, I played my PSP for awhile before I decide to call Jem, my good buddy, and ask him out for a movie.
We decided to catch the movie "Big Stan" at GV Plaza. I am the kind who only love watching comedy movie and nothing else. I cannot imagine myself seating through an action movie. Wall-E made me sleep, so what other movie you think I would watch?

The show was slated at 4.25pm but we only went in at around 4.35pm. It is kinda weird as the advertisment time was longer than usual and the movie only started at 4.45pm.

I feel that the movie was worth every bit of the $10 that I paid for as it is entertaining and really made me laugh throughout the movie.

It talks about how Stan, a timeshare broker, was convicted of fraud and sentenced to a jail sentence of no less than 3 years. However, through bribery, he managed to get his sentence to be delayed for 6 months before he start to serve it. Hearing about how he is potentially a target for rape in the jail, he started to learn ways to ensure that he does not get rape.

After being thrown out from a Karate school, Stan made friends with The Master, who taught him many things during the 6 months, including the 'Finger of Death".

When he finally went to jail, with the skills all fully equipped, Stan showed everyone who the Boss was in the Prison by challenging the various groups and beating the crap out of them. He then seek to unite the different groups of inmates and made them accept each and other differences. He also outlaw rape in the prison - successfully.

However, the Warden in the prison had other ideas. He wanted to sell away the land that the prison was on and made a quick buck from it. He was also the mastermind behind Stan's transfer of prison as he sees Stan as the best person to materialize his plans. In exchange, Stan would be granted parole.

On the day of the visit by the Prison Committee, the Warden had planned for a fight to be carried out in full view of the visiting committee so as to allow them to decide to let off the piece of land. But Stan had different ideas.

I am not going to spoil the whole thing by telling you what happen but what happen was a combination of unexpected happenings and also humourous incidents.

After the movie, went for dinner at Mad Jack's, located at Paradiz Centre. The food was good and the price was reasonable. I ordered a Rib-Eye Steak Combo and the steak was one of the better one that I tasted.

I also ordered the cheese fries, though I thought that the KFC version was better. And of course, what better drink to top it up then a Coke Zero!

Jem ordered the Spicy Chicken on Rice, and commented that it was very good.

After that, went to catch the game between West Ham and Bolton, as well as the Manchester City vs Liverpool game. Went home at 12.05am, just in time to catch the 502 Express service home.

Have been suffering from headaches for the past few weeks and it is still not getting better. Am I dying soon or is it my high blood pressure? I think that I should learn how to relax and not get uptight over nitty-gritty things. Maybe, maybe, maybe......

*In the movie, I thought of you again. Stan said something that really hit the nail on the head. You were right. I was selfish, arrogant and always thinking about myself, never sparing a thought for you all this while. I only know how important you are to me when you are gone. Perhaps, the best thing that you had ever done was to leave me. But I hope that you would forgive me and that we could bare our hearts to each other again. I dare not hope or think that day would come any sooner but I certainly wish that you would consider to come back to me again.*

Thursday, October 2, 2008

It is Thursday, back from a Public Holiday on Wednesday, 1 October 2008.

1st Oct 2008, Wednesday:
The day went by pretty fast on this day. I actually woke up at 10am, had breakfast, and then sleep till 5pm. It was the rare moment/occasion that I have so much time to sleep on a weekday for a long long time.

Went with parents to Whompoa market for a meal. Had Nasi Lemak, "Or Lua" and Rojak. One of the best meal I had for a long long time. After that, drove them to IMM to shop for a while. Over there, I bought some sushi home and ate them (salmon, scallop, tuna etc.) - SHIOK!

Dozed off while MSNed.......

2nd Oct 2008, Thursday:
What was supposed to be D-Day will not happen until at least when my boss is back on 20th October 2008. Many people asked me why am I so bent and determined to quit. My reply is simple: I want a better prospect and also, I want to take care of my grandparents.

Tomorrow, I will have to go to Dr Ler's for a check up and to see if I need medication for High Blood Pressure. I hope that I do not need to.

*Do you know that when I am with you, everything seemed so beautiful and nice? Everything happened just like it was for me and you. When you are not with me anymore, everything collaspes. The moon is not as round, the sun is not as bright. Can you hear me? Can you hear the inner part of me screaming for you.....*
